Job summary

The Richmond Group USA seeks a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to join a global manufacturer in Winchester, VA. You will help drive automation, equipment upgrades, and hands-on engineering to improve processes and deliver visible results.

You will evaluate existing manufacturing processes, lead automation projects from concept through implementation, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and vendors to boost capacity and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing or mechanical engineering experience.
  • Experience with manufacturing automation, machine improvements, or automated production equipment.
  • Hands-on equipment troubleshooting and project leadership experience.
  • Project management experience leading equipment or automation projects from concept through implementation.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD (Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and strong GD&T knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, results-driven approach.

TRG Manufacturing Search Division is conducting a search for a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established global manufacturer. Working closely with operations, maintenance, and outside vendors, you'll increase production capacity, improve efficiency, and help modernize a highly customized, engineered-to-order manufacturing operation.

You'll see your ideas move from concept to implementation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful business results.

We're looking for someone with 4+ years of manufacturing or mechanical engineering experience who has worked with manufacturing automation, machine design, equipment modifications, and project management. Background:

The anticipated salary range for this role is $80,000 to $120,000, with final compensation based on your experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
