Job description

TRG Manufacturing Search Division seeks a Quality Engineer to join a leading global industrial equipment manufacturer. This newly created role supports the company's continued growth and will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, strengthening quality systems, and driving operational excellence across the plant.

As a Quality Engineer, you will partner with production, engineering, and operations to improve manufacturing processes, reduce variation, and help build a stronger "Voice of Quality." You'll lead root cause investigations, identify continuous improvement opportunities, strengthen control plans and FMEAs, and use data to improve first-time pass yield, process capability, and product quality. Beyond day-to-day quality support, you'll help implement APQP, improve supplier quality and traceability, and develop systems that prevent problems before they occur. You'll also collaborate with international corporate quality teams as the plant continues to scale in a fast-paced engineered-to-order manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys improving manufacturing processes, influencing cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that make operations more efficient, repeatable, and reliable.

Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred
  • 3+ years of quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or manufacturing process improvement experience
  • Hands-on experience with continuous improvement, root cause analysis, CAPA, control plans, FMEA, and statistical problem-solving
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to identify opportunities, drive improvements, and influence cross-functional teams
  • APQP experience and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt a plus

If you're a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving manufacturing problems, improving processes, and driving continuous improvement while building a true "Right First Time" culture, we'd love to hear from you.
