Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support a top manufacturing and automation technology client. The role focuses on bringing electro-mechanical products from development into production by improving manufacturability, assembly processes, quality, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 7+ years of electro-mechanical design, assembly, and testing experience.
  • Strong experience with manufacturing processes, DFM, and NPI.
  • Mechanical CAD experience (NX preferred).
  • Experience troubleshooting and root cause analysis on mechanical/electro-mechanical systems.
  • Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Bring electro-mechanical products from development into production by improving manufacturability and assembly processes.
  • Improve product quality and operational efficiency across production lines.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, suppliers, and operations to drive NPI and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and conduct root-cause analysis for sustained fixes.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams.

Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a top manufacturing and automation technology client. This individual will play a critical role in bringing new electro-mechanical products from development into production by improving manufacturability, assembly processes, quality, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will partner closely with design, engineering, suppliers, and operations teams to drive new product introductions, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, conduct root cause analysis, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. This is a highly visible position for someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and helping innovative products successfully transition from concept to production

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 7+ years of electro-mechanical design, assembly, and testing experience
  • Strong experience with manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability (DFM), and new product introduction (NPI)
  • Mechanical CAD experience (NX preferred)
  • Experience troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis on mechanical/electro-mechanical systems
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Siemens NX experience
  • Component manufacturing process knowledge
  • Product costing or job costing experience
  • Experience creating manufacturing work instructions and technical documentation
  • Experience supporting suppliers and driving continuous improvement initiatives

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
