Currently hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer and Senior Manufacturing Engineer.
In these roles, you will:
- Develop, qualify, and optimize processes for innovative technologies on large-format substrates.
- Transition technologies from small-scale research to full-scale production.
- Install, qualify, and troubleshoot new equipment; implement performance and reliability upgrades.
- Analyze workflow, layout, and resource utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Estimate production times, costs, and staffing requirements.
- Apply structured problem-solving to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, equipment, program management, product, and quality.
- Coordinate with vendors on specifications, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance to team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
- 4-8 years of experience in process development or scaling for precision devices.
- Experience in industries like architectural or specialty coatings, or device-on-glass technologies.
- Proven ability to scale new technologies from lab to production.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with an entrepreneurial, adaptable approach.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision on complex issues.
Physical/Environmental Requirements
- Frequent standing; occasional lifting (up to 15 lb), bending, kneeling.
- Good vision, hearing, dexterity; exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures, mechanical/electrical equipment.
