Account Executive at Ajulia Executive Search

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Design Engineering to assess new product designs for manufacturability.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
• Offer technical support to external machining and assembly vendors as needed.
• Stay informed about advancements in manufacturing technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain CNC machining programs for operations such as turning, milling, grinding, and gear shaping.
• Select and define appropriate tooling solutions for all machining operations.
• Evaluate current manufacturing processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and maintain technological competitiveness.
• Conduct job costing and time/motion studies to ensure cost-effective production.
• Lead capital equipment evaluations, including preparing and presenting cost-benefit analyses.
• Drive long-term planning initiatives for upcoming technologies and projects.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Manufacturing Engineering and shop personnel.
• Collaborate with fellow Manufacturing Engineers on cross-functional projects and support activities.
• Coordinate daily with internal departments and external suppliers to support smooth operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Experience designing jigs, fixtures, and tooling using SolidWorks.
• Demonstrated expertise in machining processes for aluminum and ductile iron castings, as well as various alloy steels.
• Strong understanding of standard inspection tools, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), and inspection techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing practices, including fabrication methods, heat treatment, welding, and machine operation.
• Skilled in developing CNC programs using Mastercam or similar CAM software.
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite to create documentation, spreadsheets, and databases in support of manufacturing operations.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles and statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
• Proficient in interpreting and applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
