Job summary

Cintal, Inc. in Pontiac, IL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with 8–10 years of experience to support production processes and lead process improvements within the ME group.

You will collaborate with quality, operations, and design teams to validate new machining methods and implement efficient, repeatable workflows on the shop floor. The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering (or comparable experience) and hands-on CNC programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; comparable experience considered.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing and machining environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship available.

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• 30% office & 70% shop floor. Supporting PCN, Testing and validating process improvements, working with operators on maintaining processes, preparing reports and process review documents

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Part of the ME group supporting production processes and process improvement initiatives
• Support daily operations in the manufacturing process
• Work with quality, operations, and design teams to validate new processes and process improvements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Years of experience: 8-10
• Degree requirement: Bachelor’s in engineering field preferred but will consider comparable experience. (8-10 years if no BA)

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Manufacturing and machining environment experience
• CNC programing and process development

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with hone, OD/ID grinding, and centerless grinding
• Experience developing and maintaining automated cells.
