Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures for assemblies and equipment installation.
• Drive adoption of automation, robotics, and digital manufacturing tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Create and analyze 3D model data environments to optimize processes and digital work instructions.
• Evaluate equipment and tools performance; initiate corrective actions.
• Leverage factory data to develop SPC approaches and analytics for continuous improvement.
• Provide design input regarding concepts and specifications to optimize manufacturing techniques.

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures for assemblies and equipment installation. Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions. Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.Experience in a manufacturing environment working cross functionally with other disciplines including industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance &/or production planningExperience with some combination of the following: experience with manufacturing processes and procedures including: fabrication, assembly, and machining in several disciplines including composites, metallics, machining, bonded assemblies &/or installationsPrevious experience developing visual work instructions for use in a manufacturing environmentExperience with Teamcenter and CATIASecret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 yearsNot an ME Planner role**Manager is looking for a varying breadth of "first time build" experience.
