Job summary

Accurate Metal Machining, Inc. in Painesville, OH, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, optimize, and support precision-machined components from NPI to production.

You will work with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance to drive efficiency and quality on the shop floor. Responsibilities include leading Lean/Six Sigma projects, designing tooling and fixtures, validating processes, and maintaining routings, BOMs, and process sheets.

Qualifications

• Experience improving manufacturing processes for precision-machined parts.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Validation, and SPC.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for tooling and process validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production methods.
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and process improvements.
• Support CNC operations with validation and troubleshooting.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Analyze production data to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including routings, BOMs, and process sheets.
• Evaluate equipment capabilities and plan capital improvements.
