Worthington Enterprises seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical assistance to production support, manage improvement projects, design tooling, and install capital equipment. The position targets reducing downtime, higher production rates, and labor cost reductions while cross-training staff.
The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills and interacts with maintenance and production teams on draw press and capital projects.
We are looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to the team. This individual provides technical assistance to production support in day to day production problem resolution; management of production improvement projects; tool design and procurement and installation of capital equipment. This role requires a high attention to detail as the key position results include but are not limited to reducing equipment down time; attaining higher production rates; reduced labor costs; and cross training of production support personnel. This position utilizes strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills to identify, develop and follow through on a course of action relative to draw press and other capital equipment repair and replacement.
