Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled BIW Manufacturing Engineer to support and optimize body-in-white production processes. You’ll be involved in process design, layout planning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the BIW manufacturing line.

• Develop and optimize BIW manufacturing processes, including cell layout, equipment planning, and material flow.
• Conduct time and motion studies to improve process efficiency and reduce cycle time.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure process alignment and quality.
• Support tooling and fixture design reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Work closely with OEMs, suppliers, and line builders to implement process changes and upgrades.
• Prepare charts, diagrams, and floor plans for production workflow and equipment utilization.
• Assist with troubleshooting production issues and driving root cause analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in BIW manufacturing or process engineering, preferably with an OEM or Tier-1 supplier.
• Proficiency in CAD tools and/or Creta for line simulation and process design.
• Strong knowledge of BIW structures, joining techniques (spot welding, MIG, riveting), and manufacturing standards.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments.
