Responsibilities

• Define and implement changes to manufacturing processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• Develop and update procedures and work instructions for manufacturing processes based on customer requirements.
• Build parts, routings and related items in Epicor ERP system.
• Disposition DMRs and RMAs when required in a timely manner.
• Assist in product development, production and tooling with fixturing.
• Define inspection criteria based on statistical analysis.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot production and quality issues.
• Provide material review dispositions for non-conforming materials or parts.
• Provide support to the production floor.
• Engage with supply chain to address quality issues.
• Review projects to design, develop and deploy workable solutions with minimal resources.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Summary & Job Duties

Our expertise in Engineering Material Coatings (EMC) allows global leading chip manufacturers and OEM equipment makers to achieve next generation technologies. We are seeking a driven, hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team that specializes in engineered materials and coating solutions for semiconductor applications worldwide.

Salary Range: $102K - 110K

Minimum Qualifications

• Define and implement changes to manufacturing processes to improve quality and efficiency as well as improve yields and reduce cycle time.
• Develop and update procedures and work instructions for manufacturing processes based on customer requirements.
• Build parts, routings and anything related in ERP (Epicor) system.
• Disposition DMRs and RMAs when required in a timely manner.
• Assist in product development, production and detail departments with fixturing and tooling.
• Define inspection criteria based on statistical analysis.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot production and quality issues.
• Implement controlled changes to processes to improve quality and efficiency as well as improve yields and reduce cycle time.
• Provide material review dispositions for non-conforming materials or parts.
• Provide support to the production floor.
• Engage with supply chain to address quality issues.
• Review assigned projects to define, design, develop and deploy the most workable solution utilizing the least amount of resources.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering or related engineering degree
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross functional teams.
• Experienced chemical processes a plus
• Understand GD&T drawings and technical specification requirements
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing process quality controls
• Zero to three (0-3) years' experience, preferably in process development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experienced with SPC, DOE, FMEA desirable
• Sound organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and technical writing abilities.
• Be highly motivated and able to work under strict deadlines.
• Experience in SolidWorks is desirable.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds by self in a safe manner anything above that utilize a lifting device
• Extensive periods of sitting, talking on the phone, and working on the computer.
• Extensive periods of walking and standing.
• Flexible to train in other work areas as needed.
