Job summary

Vermeer in Moonville, SC seeks an Engineer I – Manufacturing to advance production through practical engineering, collaborating with manufacturing, product development, and aftersales teams. You will apply lean principles, support JIT production, and lead Kaizen events while interpreting schematics and designing tooling.

Knowledge of PLM/ECN (Teamcenter or Windchill) and ERP/Power BI is expected. The on-site role includes occasional travel; Vermeer offers a collaborative culture and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and reading technical drawings.
• Experience with JIT manufacturing and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with PLM/ECN systems (Teamcenter or Windchill) and digital work instructions.
