Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
- Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong proficiency in CAD tools; Creo experience is a must.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update manufacturing process documentation, including tooling lists, setup requirements, and standard work instructions.
- Define tooling, fixturing, and material-handling requirements (e.g., carts, trolleys) for manufacturing processes.
- Work with tooling and fixture vendors to specify, procure, and implement new tooling solutions.
- Develop manufacturing process flows that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Perform assembly process planning and support systematic layout planning.
- Engage in production planning and control activities.
- Conduct direct labor studies using accepted engineering methods and establish labor standards for operations, setups, and workstation layouts.
- Support material flow optimization and standardization processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive cost reduction measures.
- Maintain daily project follow-ups and coordinate with customers to ensure alignment and progress.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, and recommending actions.
