Qualifications

• 7+ years as Manufacturing/Process/Project Engineer.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.

• Experience in regulated medical device contract manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Our client in Marlboro, MA is looking to bring on a SR Manufacturing Engineer. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• In this role you will be responsible for leading the technical execution of new product introductions, engineering projects, process improvements, and complex customer programs within a highly regulated medical device contract manufacturing environment.
• This position serves as a technical bridge between customers, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations to ensure products are transferred from concept and prototype through production efficiently, consistently, and in compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
• Develop manufacturing processes, routings, work instructions, setup sheets, tooling plans, and inspection requirements.
• Develop and implement fixtures, gauges, tooling, and other manufacturing aids.
• Conduct process capability studies and implement improvements where necessary.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and continuous-improvement methodologies.
• The ideal candidate combines strong project engineering and manufacturing engineering experience with advanced hands-on knowledge of CNC machining, Matsuura machining centers, RoboDrill Mills, wire EDM, GD&T, fixturing, tooling, and process development.

Experience:

• 7+ years working as a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer or Project Engineer
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and continuous-improvement methodologies.
• Experience with setting up and operating CNC machines. Oversee CNC Programming and CAD systems.
• Experience with quality and mechanical inspections.
