Volex IMS - Irvine Electronics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain methods and processes for PCBA, sub-assemblies and final assemblies, supporting production from prototype to release.
You will lead tooling and process improvements, work with program managers and customers on ECO/ECN, and train production staff while ensuring quality objectives and cost reductions.

Job Purpose:
Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequences and processes in the manufacture of PCBA’s, sub-assemblies and final assemblies while providing manufacturing engineering support services directly to manufacturing. Designs, modifies, validates, and manages process activities for a specific product or group of products from prototype builds to production release.

ADA REQUIREMENTS:
The key physical requirements for this position include the ability to use standard office equipment including PC’s, fax, and copy machine, movement within a standard office and distribution warehouse area, walking, sitting, standing, climbing, carrying, pushing/pulling and lifting 1–30 pounds occasionally. Telephone use is a must.
EYE EXAM REQUIREMENT:
An annual eye exam is required due to the nature of our business and customer requirements.
