Job summary
TechniPower, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a six-month contract with potential for direct hire.
You will support production of electronics connectors, drive continuous improvement, support NPI initiatives, and lead tooling/fixture improvements and capital equipment implementations. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent experience and hands-on manufacturing experience in electronics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (required).
- Experience in manufacturing electronics connectors or related electronics manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience leading continuous improvement and NPI initiatives.
- Experience with tooling/fixture improvements and capital equipment implementations.
Responsibilities
- Provide production support for small electronics connectors.
- Drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.
- Lead NPI initiatives from design to pilot runs and ramp-up.
- Develop and implement tooling and fixtures to improve efficiency.
- Plan and deploy capital equipment implementations.

I have a client in the Irvine CA area that has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer.
In this role, you will be working as a Manufacturing Engineer for a client involved in manufacturing of electronics connectors. This position will be responsible for and production support of small electronics connectors – continuous improvement, NPI initiatives, tooling/fixture improvements, and capital equipment implementations.
The role is a 6 month contract intended to do direct hire / long term or will be hired direct hire.
Pay range $50-58/hour
