Job summary

CPS, Inc. in North Indianapolis is seeking a Chemical/Process/Manufacturing Engineer with project management and CI focus to drive improvements in equipment efficiency and OEE.

You will analyze data, troubleshoot processes, lead packaging and manufacturing equipment optimization, and apply Lean/Six Sigma methods to reduce downtime and cost. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• At least 3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience
• Experience leading projects
• Food-grade manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of packaging equipment, automation, and controls (PLC/DCS)
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
