Are you a Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys being out on the shop floor, working with the people actually building the product and finding better ways to get things done?

We are working with an established industrial equipment manufacturer in the Indianapolis area that is looking to add a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer to its team.

This is an opportunity to have a real impact on the manufacturing floor. You'll work closely with engineering and production to improve processes, solve problems and help make the overall operation more efficient.

A background in fabricated metal manufacturing is particularly important. We're looking for someone who understands welding and fabrication and is comfortable working around the equipment and people found in a hands‑on manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for fabrication and assembly

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
• Several years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
• Experience in a metal fabrication environment with a good understanding of welding
• Familiarity with fabrication and machining equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Someone who enjoys working directly with manufacturing personnel on the shop floor
