Job summary

AGCO is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the Hesston, KS production floor, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency. The role involves identifying improvements, leading projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and material planning.

You will develop cost estimates for components, use MRP to ensure timely production, and promote a safe working environment. This onsite position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering and 2-4 years of experience.
  • Basics understanding of manufacturing engineering concepts, floor layout, and workflow.
  • Team player who can work effectively in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
  • Able to provide leadership for change and improvement.
  • Excellent analytical/problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the production floor to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency of operations.

Your Impact

Identify improvement opportunities and solutions. Lead special projects when assigned.

Perform work balance activities using time studies and/or other tools as needed.

Develop cost estimates of manufactured components/materials ensuring completeness, accuracy, and conformance with required delivery schedules.

Your Experience and Qualifications

Degree in Engineering and 2-4 years of experience, Technology discipline or related field or equivalent experience and skills

Basics understanding of Manufacturing Engineering concepts, floor layout, and workflow.

Able to provide leadership for change and improvement
