Job summary

AGCO seeks a Global MES Product Manager to shape the product strategy for Manufacturing Execution Systems. You will translate shop-floor needs into prioritized roadmaps, partner with IT, manufacturing, and global teams, and drive value across AGCO’s MES portfolio.

The role demands deep manufacturing experience, strong collaboration, and the ability to connect operational challenges to practical product solutions, ensuring MES solutions meet current and future manufacturing needs.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years MES or related manufacturing systems experience.
  • 4-5 years Manufacturing Engineering Experience.
  • Align customer feedback with operational realities, priorities and product strategy.
  • Advocate for product priorities with other Product Owners in Agile.
  • Define and uphold product quality guardrails for MES capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Turn fragmentation into a coherent, streamlined architecture.
  • Bring order to a complex multi-system landscape.
  • Improve UI/UX so shop-floor operators have usable tools, boosting efficiency and reducing errors.
  • Maintain system performance for reliable, scalable operations.
  • Collaborate with Data Lake team to turn shop-floor data into a strategic asset for decisions, analytics and future AI/Automation initiatives.

AGCO is seeking a Global MES Product Manager to help define, guide, and execute the global vision for our Manufacturing Execution Systems product line. In this role, you will partner with a focused team to shape the product strategy, translate manufacturing needs into actionable roadmap priorities, and ensure AGCO’s MES solutions deliver meaningful value to manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on manufacturing experience, a strong understanding of how MES solutions are used on the shop floor, and the ability to connect operational challenges with practical product solutions. You will assess customer needs, evaluate competitive offerings, and use market insight to guide product recommendations, development, investment priorities, cost considerations, and long-term growth strategy.

This role requires frequent collaboration with internal customers, our IT organization, manufacturing teams,Engineeringand other product stakeholders across global regions. You will be expected to communicate clearly, build trusted relationships,facilitateproductive discussions, and use sound judgment to balance customer feedback, business priorities, and operational realities.

As the subject matter expert and super-user for AGCO’s MES products, you will helpestablishproduct quality expectations, support roadmap alignment, and serve as a key voice in defining how our MES portfolio evolves to meet current and future manufacturing needs.

Your Experience and qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of MES exposure or related manufacturing systems experience. Key Problem-Solving Responsibilities
  • Minimum 4-5 years of Manufacturing Engineering Experience.
  • Align customer feedback with operational realities, business priorities, and product strategy.
  • Advocate for and defend product priorities with other Product Owners within theAgile Process.
  • Define and uphold product quality guardrails, serving as a key quality gate for customer-facing MES capabilities.
