Responsibilities:

• Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design, build, and enhance assembly lines to ensure they are efficient, ergonomic, and scalable to meet production demands.
• Develop and maintain time studies, work standards, and labor utilization plans.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implement data-driven solutions to resolve them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality, and supply chain) to improve material flow, reduce waste, and enhance work-in-progress (WIP) management.
• Implement and sustain visual management systems, tier boards, and structured problem-solving tools.
• Analyze data to support capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Assist in designing and optimizing workflows, facility layouts, and equipment placement for maximum productivity.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, equipment, and technologies that enhance operational performance.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and drive the effectiveness of implemented improvements.

Education:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-mix, low-volume production environment.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel, Minitab, or similar statistical tools.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong communication skills, especially in presenting findings and driving recommendations.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.

Certifications (Preferred):

• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
