Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Stoves Business Unit in Halifax, PA. Key Responsibilities

• Managingsmall to large scale projects to achieve timely improvements to SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics.
• Drivefacility’s lean culture by supporting business process improvements through Continuous Improvement events.
• Assessand eliminatesafetyrisksin the manufacturing environment and drive improvements to ergonomicsthroughout the production process.
• Establish production run rates, balance standard work, create smooth flow of material and finishedproduct.
• Improve product qualityby building quality control and mistake-proofing into the manufacturing process.
• Drive cost reduction through improved labor efficiency, improved material utilization, reduced defect rates
• Implement product changes through ECO process and support new product launches.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, primarily Excel, Project, Outlook, & AutoCAD
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
