Leoforce in Greensboro, NC is seeking a mid-level Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes and equipment. The role emphasizes lean/six-sigma methods to reduce waste and improve efficiency while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will collaborate with production and design teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead projects from concept through execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Proven experience with lean manufacturing, six sigma, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control techniques.
  • Familiarity with automation and automation implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
  • A strong commitment to safety and compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

  • Utilizing lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies to streamline production processes and reduce waste.

  • Training staff on new and existing manufacturing processes and equipment.

  • Preparing and presenting technical reports to stakeholders and management.
