Job summary

Siemens Energy in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support turbine generator production. You will provide daily technical support to stator coil manufacturing, partnering with production and maintenance teams to improve safety, quality, cycle times and manufacturing costs.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting process equipment, designing and procuring tooling, and evaluating opportunities for new equipment and advanced manufacturing methods.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required or preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with manufacturing tools, technologies, project planning, and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software and Microsoft Office, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Design, procure, and implement tooling and equipment needed to support manufacturing operations.
  • Identify and champion innovative manufacturing methods that enhance competitiveness and challenge the status quo.

As a Manufacturing Engineer supporting turbine generator production, you will provide daily technical support to the manufacturing processes used to produce stator coil components. Your day involves partnering with production and maintenance teams to improve safety, enhance quality, reduce cycle times, and lower manufacturing costs. You’ll troubleshoot process equipment, design and procure tooling, and evaluate opportunities for new equipment and advanced manufacturing methods. Your work directly contributes to operational excellence, competitiveness, and the continuous improvement culture at Siemens Energy.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
