The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The Manufacturing Engineer will support operations at the Clarkston, GA site. Responsibilities include developing critical manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. The role requires strong leadership, decision-making skills, and the ability to learn new software and measurement systems.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:

• Support manufacturing operations and team members
• Lead continuous improvement projects impacting safety, cycle time, uptime, yield, service, and cost
• Provide technical support to enhance process stability and reliability
• Implement and support capital investment projects
• Drive scrap rate improvements through corrective actions
• Collaborate with QA and other departments to improve manufacturing processes

Your Skills and Expertise

Minimum qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (verified prior to start)
• Three (3) years of manufacturing experience in various sectors
• One (1) year of experience with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD

Additional qualifications that are advantageous:

• Five (5) years of manufacturing experience, especially in aerospace/defense
• Machining experience
• Training in Lean Six Sigma/Lean methodologies, statistics, DOE, CMM/Programming
• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Self-motivated, analytical, problem-solving skills
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification

Work Details

Location: Clarkston, GA

Travel: Up to 5-10% domestic
