gpac is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to improve manufacturing processes and quality systems for an organization focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

The role collaborates with Production, Engineering, and Quality to solve manufacturing challenges, improve efficiency, and ensure consistent product quality. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience and 2+ years in quality systems within manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of quality assurance or quality systems engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in metal fabrication or mechanical equipment manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, quality, safety, and cost effectiveness.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and develop manufacturing aids, fixtures, work instructions, and standardized processes.
  • Investigate production issues, nonconformances, and customer concerns and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain quality systems, including corrective actions, audits, documentation, and compliance activities.
  • Partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality on engineering changes, process improvements, and manufacturability.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to improve manufacturing processes and quality systems for an established organization focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

This role works closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality to solve manufacturing challenges, improve efficiency, and ensure consistent product quality.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, quality, safety, and cost effectiveness
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and develop manufacturing aids, fixtures, work instructions, and standardized processes

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred
  • 2+ years of quality assurance or quality systems engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in metal fabrication or mechanical equipment manufacturing preferred
  • Associate or Men's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Welding, or a related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, blueprints, quality systems, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement
