Job summary

Holley Performance Brands is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a full-time role in Bowling Green, KY. This position collaborates with manufacturing and industrial engineering teams to support multiple facilities, designing tooling, CAM programs, and improving processes across the plant.

The role involves CAD design, CAM programming for CNC milling and lathe work, and implementing vision systems and automated inspection tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or an equivalent combination of 2-year degree and experience.
• Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CAD, data analysis programs and related software.
• Experience with vision systems is a plus.
• Strong organization and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and/or testing of tooling and equipment and planning the manufacturing processes in a designated area of the manufacturing plant.
• Provides technical support for specific plant operations.
• CAD design of tooling and work holding for CNC machining, assembly and manufacturing processes.
• CAM programming of CNC milling machines and lathes.
• Develop and/or improve manufacturing processes and equipment for assigned areas of the plant.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes related to carburetor assembly, flow testing, and quality control.
• Create and update product routings, bills-of-material, and work instructions.
• Assist with implementation and programming of vision systems and automated inspection tools.
• Participate in process improvement, capacity planning, and cost reduction efforts.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events, 5S, and lean manufacturing projects.
• Evaluate expenditures for processes and/or equipment.
• Support of tube bending/fabricating and warehousing/distribution may be required.

Holley Performance Brands is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a full-time role within an aftermarket automotive organization in Bowling Green, KY. This role works collaboratively with the manufacturing and industrial engineering teams, supporting multiple facilities in Bowling Green.

This position will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations, including the following responsibilities:

• Design and/or testing of tooling and equipment and/or planning the manufacturing processes in a designated area of the manufacturing plant.
• Provides technical support for specific plant operations.
• CAD design of tooling and work holding for various CNC machining, assembly and manufacturing processes.
• CAM programming of CNC milling machines and lathes.
• Directs the development and/or improvements of manufacturing processes and equipment for assigned areas of the plant.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes related to carburetor assembly, flow testing, and quality control.
• Create and update product routings, bills-of-material, and work instructions.
• Assist with implementation and programming of vision systems and automated inspection tools.

Education and Skill Requirements:

• Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, are a must.
• Experience using CAD, data analysis programs and related software.
• Experience with vision systems is a plus.
