Job summary

Thyssenkrupp in Bloomington, MN is seeking a seasoned manufacturing professional to lead Lean initiatives and optimize line layouts for efficiency. You will analyze workforce usage, production timing, and costs to guide management decisions and align with vendor specifications for equipment and materials.

The role requires strong communication, project management, and leadership skills, with extensive experience in metal fabrication and build-to-suit projects.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in Lean Manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in sheet metal fabrication.
  • Experience with repetitive and build-to-suit manufacturing methodologies.
  • Experience managing large and complex projects using industry tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational, management, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a high competency in Excel.
  • Strong analytical thinker.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates products based on specifications and quality standards. Gather data to assess the effectiveness of manufacturing procedures.
  • Ensures successful completion of health and safety reviews for new and altered equipment.
  • Participates in travel as appropriate for business needs.

Job Compensation

Up to $124K Annually
