Job summary

3M in Clarkston, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to analyze CNC machining processes, design tooling and SOPs for the grind shop, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

You will troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analyses, and collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to qualify new products and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering Discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
• Three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• One (1) year of experience with SolidWorks and/or Auto CAD
• Familiarity with CNC machining operations and CMM machining and programming
• Five (5) years of Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering in a private, public, government or military environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis.
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork across functional teams
