Job summary

Paladin Consulting is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an overnight shift in Andover, MA. Training starts on the 1st shift (7am) for about a month, then moves to 10 pm–6 am.

You will work hands-on in a manufacturing environment and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, has 5+ years in manufacturing, strong GD&T, CNC programming (4+ axis), and experience with SPC/metrology data to improve process

Job description

Manufacturing Engineer [Overnight Shift]

• Training will occur on 1st shift, 7am start (~1 month of training), then transition to 3rd shift- 10 pm - 6am

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering field
• 5+ years of relevant Manufacturing Engineering experience in a production/manufacturing environment
• 5+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Strong experience with CNC machining and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of high-speed machining techniques, cutting tools, and CNC machine capabilities
• Experience developing and improving manufacturing processes, including tooling/fixturing, inspection plans, process documentation, and operator instructions
• Experience with CNC programming, ideally involving 4+ axis machines
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing/process issues and performing Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions
• Familiarity with SPC/metrology data and using data to improve process capability and reduce defects
• Ability to work closely with Manufacturing/Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• U.S. Citizenship required due to the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
• Comfortable working hands-on in and around manufacturing/factory environments
