Formlabs is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Somerville, MA. You will own internship projects within the manufacturing team, working with cross-functional groups to improve processes and fixtures.

The role emphasizes CAD proficiency, hands-on hardware work, and collaboration with design, software, and suppliers. Compensation is salaried with a bi-weekly pay schedule and full-time commitment.

Formación

• Portfolio of engineering work/projects required.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and 2D drawing creation.
• Experience debugging and diagnosing electromechanical issues.
• Hands-on hardware focus with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (SQL, Tableau, JMP, Minitab).
• Python experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support end-to-end test and calibration equipment development, including fixture design and maintenance.
• Project manage manufacturing builds, including overseas vendors and troubleshooting.
• Co-develop methods, processes, and work instructions for next-gen products.
