Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) in Dublin, Virginia, is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will manage safety, scheduling, and training aspects of repairs and startup projects, ensuring efficient operation.

The role requires a five-year electrical technician background, NEC/NFPA/OSHA code knowledge, and PLC programming experience.

Qualifications

Associate degree in electrical technology or related field.
At least five (5) years’ relevant electrical technician experience in manufacturing.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Improve process efficiencies through implementation of new automated technology and elimination of non-value-added activities.

Assist production areas with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Provide troubleshooting for PLC programs and interface with hardware/software.
Coordinate fabrication and installation activities to conform to manufacturing requirements and GMP.
Maintain project and equipment files including drawings, PLC programs, and spare parts.
Plan fabrication of panels and equipment for system improvements.
Maintain and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
