Collins Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer (MEE) to join our integrated product team supporting both commercial and military applications. This role focuses on production testing of advanced vision systems and sensors. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in manufacturing test procedures and be adept at troubleshooting complex digital and analog circuitry.

This is a hands-on, production support role that requires coordination across multiple departments, fast context switching, strong time management, and clear communication skills. This position offers a dynamic environment where innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement are central. What You Will Do:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve test-related issues, identifying whether failures are due to the product or test process

  • Provide technical support to test technicians during production

  • Repair and maintain sophisticated electrical and optical robotic test equipment

  • Support Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), including vibration test equipment and associated software

  • Optimize test equipment performance under guidance from senior engineers

  • Conduct investigations to improve test system efficiency and effectiveness

  • Assist with lean manufacturing and electronic process improvements

  • Update and maintain test documentation as required

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

  • Experience in at least one of the following areas, manufacturing, testing, trouble shooting, electrical

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in the aerospace industry

  • Hands-on experience testing optical display systems

  • Experience with transitioning products from NPI (New Product Introduction) to full-scale production

  • Familiarity with gage repeatability & reproducibility (R&R) and Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies

  • Working knowledge of software interaction with automated test equipment

  • Proficiency with test and analysis tools such as:

    • LabVIEW

    • National Instruments TestStand

    • Minitab

    • Troubleshooting equipment, including:

      • Oscilloscopes

      • Digital Multimeters (DMMs)

      • Logic analyzers

      • Power supplies

      • Electronic loads

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
