Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA is seeking a manufacturing/test engineer to execute and support test plans and data analysis for new and existing products in aerospace/defense. This onsite role offers the chance to work with senior engineers on challenging programs.

Applicants should hold a STEM degree and have knowledge of electronics and RF. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance are required. RTX Raytheon provides a competitive benefits package and relocation eligibility.

• Execute and/or support manufacturing test plans, procedures, and validation activities for new and existing products.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data; document results clearly and accurately.
• Identify anomalies and assist with root-cause analysis under guidance from senior engineers.
• Create and/or update manufacturing data packages including factory test procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Operations, Design/System Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Follow established engineering, operational, and manufacturing standards and safety guidelines.

What You Will Do

• Execute and/or support manufacturing test plans, procedures, and validation activities for new and existing products.
• Set up and/or support operation and/or maintenance of test equipment used for production testing (power, communication, digital/analog and/or radio frequency)
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data; document results clearly and accurately.
• Identify anomalies and assist with root-cause analysis for effective corrective actions under guidance from senior engineers.
• Create and/or update manufacturing data packages including factory test procedures from Technical Data Packages and/or Test Requirements/Specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Design/System Engineering, Quality Engineering, Production Control, Manufacturing Engineering, Test Equipment Engineering, and Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance Engineering.
• Follow established engineering, operational, and manufacturing standards at the factory, safety guidelines, and documentation practices.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, Electrical Engineering preferrable
• Fundamental understanding of electronics and/or radio frequency (RF)
• Familiar with power and RF measurement instruments.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details
• Experience with communication, documentation, and teamwork

Qualifications We Prefer

• Internship or co-op experience in engineering, test, or validation.
• Experience with automated test or data analysis.
• Exposure to revision control systems.
• Knowledge of test methodologies, structured problem-solving and RCCA analysis.

• Relocation Eligibility

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
