Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a skilled engineer to coordinate test equipment design reviews and develop test solutions for manufacturing and service environments. You will build prototypes and integrate lab setups while applying Python, C#, LabVIEW, and Visual Basic expertise to validate designs.

Applicants should hold a STEM degree with at least two years of related experience and must be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

What You Will Do
  • You will coordinate test equipment design reviews and ensuring the generation of appropriate design documentation
  • You will review product designs and create test solutions that maximize test coverage in the manufacturing and service environments
  • Design and build prototypes with mechanical and electrical components
  • You will be utilizing Software skills in Python, C#, LabView, Visual Basic, and possibly others
  • Integrate equipment and lab set-up for testing
  • Create and release engineering documentation

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience with circuit design
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • Proven experience with software skills in Python and C# are required

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
