Manufacturing Electrical Engineer
The Manufacturing Electrical Engineer will oversee the design, process, installation, and integration processes for all new programs at FCA's Warren Stamping Plant. Additional responsibilities include:
- Delivering world-class pressroom systems that meet vertical launch criteria in reliability, safety, throughput, and quality.
- Providing technical support to production and maintenance teams.
- Coordinating vendor activities within the plant to support new programs and engineering initiatives.
- Supporting pressroom operations in Stellantis Production Way (SPW) initiatives using SPW tools for continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least five years of manufacturing experience
- General knowledge of pressroom equipment and processes
- Strong background in press and automation processes, including tandem, transfer, progressive, and blanking presses
- Experience with destackers, press-to-press, end-of-line systems, and pressroom control systems
- Proficiency with servo operation (Allen Bradley, Indramat, Unico), PLC (Allen Bradley, Modicon, Mitsubishi), and HMI (Allen Bradley, Indusoft, Uticore)
- Experience with robotics is a plus
- Project management experience from initiation to completion
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar software
- Ability to read, create, and edit mechanical and electrical drawings
- Strong understanding of pressroom equipment processes and technology
- Ability to work different shifts as required
- Willingness to travel locally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Journeyman Skilled Tradesman, preferably Electrician
- Experience in stamping and press room operations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to task completion
