Job summary

Forgent Power seeks an EHS Director to provide strategic leadership for Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across the organization. You will partner with Operations, HR, Quality, Engineering, and executive leadership to drive safety performance and regulatory compliance.

You will develop policies, manage audits, incident investigations, and training, while advancing a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental health & safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
• 8-10+ years of EHS experience with leadership roles; multi-site preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EHS strategy, goals, and metrics aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance and drive a proactive safety culture across sites.
• Oversee audits, investigations, corrective actions, and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and mentorship for teams.
