Job summary

The EHS Specialist at Nexxta is a plant-based role responsible for executing day-to-day environmental, health, and safety programs at the Nashotah facility, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations, and fostering a proactive safety culture on the production floor.

You will partner with plant leadership to identify hazards, lead investigations, maintain OSHA logs and permits, deliver training, and keep EHS documentation up to date while supporting continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental health & safety or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and EPA regulations.
• Experience in manufacturing EHS programs and inspections.
• Willingness to obtain certification; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day environmental, health and safety programs at the plant.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA 300/301 logs, SDS library, and written programs.
• Manage permits (LOTO, confined space, hot work) and training.
• Coordinate EHS training and track completion with HR.
