Tessy Plastics Corp. is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to support workplace safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory initiatives within our manufacturing operations.

This role focuses on inspections, trainings, investigations, and continuous improvement to maintain a safe and compliant environment. The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree, 4+ years in manufacturing, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Formación

• Four-year college degree is required; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Manufacturing experience of four or more years preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform regular safety rounds, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Observe employee work practices to evaluate safe behaviors and identify risks.
• Conduct accidentes, injury, and near-miss investigations with proper reporting and corrective actions.
• Coordinate and document EHS training records and equipment inventories.
• Prepare and maintain required EHS programs, documentation, and training materials.
• Review and update EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance and effectiveness.
• Conduct EHS risk assessments for new equipment, programs, and facility additions.
• Maintain SDS databases and chemical inventories.
