Job summary

Vertiv in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to provide leadership, direction, and oversight for all EHS programs at the manufacturing facility. This role develops strategies that protect employees, ensure regulatory compliance, minimize risk, and foster a culture of safety excellence.

You will partner with plant leaders to drive continuous improvement, lead safety committees, manage training, track performance, and maintain permits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of progressive Environmental, Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience managing EHS compliance programs and leading safety improvement initiatives.
• Experience with incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for all EHS initiatives across the Lincoln facility.
• Partner with plant leadership to develop and execute strategic EHS objectives.
• Lead site safety committees and drive continuous safety engagement and improvement.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA and local regulatory compliance, reporting, and permitting.
• Develop training programs and manage PPE, equipment and safety systems.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs including waste management and sustainability initiatives.
