Job summary

The role oversees regulatory compliance, employee safety training, incident response and continuous improvement initiatives, serving as the primary safety resource and collaborating with plant leadership and HR to maintain a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field preferred, with equivalent experience considered.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation and problem-solving skills required.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and environmental regulations.
• Experience in safety management within manufacturing/foundry settings is preferred.
• Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, audits and training is desirable.
• Ability to independently manage EHS responsibilities while collaborating with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and improve company-wide EHS programs, policies and procedures.
• Serve as primary EHS resource for facilities and guide leadership on safety requirements.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, DNR and other regulations and filings.
• Conduct inspections, audits, hazard assessments and job safety analyses.
• Lead investigations of injuries and incidents, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training and education for employees.
