Job summary

Pentair is seeking an EH&S Specialist for the Manitowoc, WI site. You will lead safety and environmental strategies, partnering with site leadership and operations to foster a proactive safety culture and regulatory compliance.

You will serve as the site SME for EHS, integrating safety into daily operations, conducting risk assessments, leading investigations, and delivering training across all levels. This full-time role offers growth within a global water solutions company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety systems.
• Experience leading incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement experience.
• Proven ability to influence and drive accountability.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Analytical problem solver with strong execution focus.
• Ability to work strategically and tactically.
• Comfortable working regularly on the production floor.
• Able to stand, walk, lift occasionally, and use PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the site EHS strategy aligned with Pentair standards.
• Drive a culture of safety excellence through leadership engagement, floor presence, and employee involvement.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all levels of the organization.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to embed safety into processes and equipment.
• Monitor and analyze EHS metrics (e.g., TRIR, near misses) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Support capital projects to ensure safety and environmental considerations are integrated from design through execution.
• Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and corporate EHS teams.
