Job summary

National Carwash Solutions is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator for our Grimes, IA manufacturing site. You will drive environmental, health, and safety programs in collaboration with local production management and a Corporate Safety team to improve outcomes.

You’ll implement audits, manage records, train staff, and coordinate incident investigations while supporting continuous EHS improvements across facilities in the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Influence without direct authority.
• Customer orientation and adaptability.
• Multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Intermediate computer skills; Microsoft programs and email.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills at all levels.
• Willing to travel minimally to US & Canadian facilities.
• Environmental, Health, and Safety degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year compliance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion regulatory compliance policy and program implementation.
• Collaborate with management to reduce incidents and promote safe culture.
• Oversee local safety compliance and liaise with external agencies.
• Maintain EHS records, reporting, and KPIs.
• Coordinate EHS training for staff and leaders.
• Maintain environmental permitting/compliance activities.
