Job summary

Titan America in Virginia seeks a Digitalization Intern to support projects that improve data collection, organization, visualization, and use across the cement plant. You will work with HR and cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities and document improvements for safer, more reliable operations.

The role provides hands‑on exposure to industrial data, dashboards, and workflow automation using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Pursuing associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Coursework or project experience in data analysis, app development, databases, or process improvement.
• Prior internship or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs with cross‑functional teams and identify digitalization opportunities.
• Collect, clean, and organize data from plant and business systems.
• Develop or improve dashboards, reports, and visual tools for operations and workforce.
• Support workflow automation and digitization of forms and inspections using approved platforms.
• Map processes, identify pain points, and propose practical improvements.
• Test tools, document results, and coordinate user acceptance before go‑live.
• Create process documentation, user guides, training materials, and data dictionaries.
• Assist with demonstrations or training and gather feedback to improve adoption.
