Job summary

Titan America seeks an Digitalization Intern to support data-driven projects across plant operations. The role involves collaborating with Operations, IT, HR, and maintenance to identify opportunities and deliver practical digital solutions.

You will collect and clean data, build dashboards, and help automate workflows using Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. This hands-on internship emphasizes cross-functional learning in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in IS/CS/Data Analytics/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• coursework or project experience in data analysis, app development, databases, process improvement, or business tech preferred.
• prior internship or manufacturing exposure helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations, maintenance, process, quality, safety, HR and IT to identify digitalization opportunities.
• Assist with collecting, cleaning, validating, and organizing data from plant and business systems.
• Develop or improve dashboards, reports, and visual tools to make data clearer and usable.
• Support workflow automation and digitization of forms, inspections, logs, and checklists.
• Map processes, identify pain points, and propose practical improvements based on data and user feedback.
• Test digital tools, document results, track issues, and coordinate user acceptance testing.
• Create process docs, guides, training materials, data dictionaries, and standard work instructions.
• Assist with demonstrations or training sessions and gather adoption feedback.
