Job summary

Nokia is seeking a Manufacturing DFx Engineer to ensure DfM requirements are integrated in new product development. You will define targets with Design Engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards, lead QC plans, and drive improvements.

Travel up to 20%. You will bring 5+ years in DFM and APQP, experience with FMEA, PPAP, GD&T, and hands-on manufacturing in electronics and mechanical processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in DFM, automotive or telecom sector.
• Proven APQP experience with FMEA, PPAP and control plans.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical and electronics manufacturing.
• Strong GD&T proficiency and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Define DfM targets with design and manufacturing teams.
• Conduct process capability studies and implement improvements.
• Develop and maintain quality control plans.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support new product launches through APQP.
• Monitor product quality data for trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with quality management system requirements.
• Drives best practices and lessons learned implementation in product design.
• Travel: up to 20%.
