Job summary

Axillon Aerospace is seeking a manufacturing process engineer to plan and design manufacturing processes to improve fabrication of new and existing products, meeting high engineering standards. You will determine parts, equipment, and tools, maintain labor standards and facility layouts, and analyze capacity and process simulation to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience applying core engineering concepts (mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and design manufacturing processes to improve fabrication of Axillon Aerospace products.
  • Determine parts, equipment, and tools needed to meet product specifications.
  • Maintain labor standards, safety initiatives, facility layout, capacity analysis, and process simulation.
  • Introduce new products to production from a design-for-manufacturability approach.
  • Lead process improvement projects aligning with business strategies.
