Fuyao Glass America is seeking a Manufacturing Data Analyst to verify and standardize Plex data, gather KPI metrics, and train teams on data collection and dashboard use. The role emphasizes production efficiency, cost reduction, and data-driven decision-making across the department.

The candidate will build predictive models, automate reports, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and finance to optimize scheduling and inventory while ensuring data accuracy and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• More than one year of relevant work experience.
• English and/or Mandarin language proficiency; reading and comprehension of technical docs.
• Ability to read/interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple systems, including ERP, MES, sensors, and Plex inventory data.
• Perform quantitative analysis and build predictive models to reveal trends in production efficiency, material usage, and quality.
• Generate automated reports and dashboards for cross-functional teams, highlighting KPIs like yield and OEE.
• Conduct root cause analysis on production inefficiencies and quality issues to support improvements and cost reductions.
• Use statistical software for hypothesis testing, regression, and variance analysis to inform decisions.
• Apply financial and operational modeling to optimize scheduling, inventory costs, and ROI on capital.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and analytical frameworks ensuring data accuracy and scalability.
• Collaborate with production teams and train operators on data collection, dashboard interpretation, and improvement practices.
• Apply financial modeling to evaluate ROI on investments and analyze trade-offs in scheduling and purchasing strategies.
• Build forecasting models integrating KPIs with budgeting and cash flow planning for variance analysis.
• Support cost-of-goods-sold reporting by linking logistics data to financial reconciliation systems.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analyses and budgeting impact projections for new lines.
