Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Whitehall, MI invites applicants to join the Training Program - Data Analytics Team, designed for entry-level data analysts. The program includes three rotations totaling 18 months, with opportunities to transition to a permanent position at a Howmet Engines facility.

Candidates must relocate during the program and pursue a BS or MS in data analytics or related fields. Training covers data tools, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration within our manufacturing

Qualifications

Pursuing a BS or MS in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics with a Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 graduation date.
Previous internship or co-op in data analytics/science or computer science is required.
Candidates must be willing to relocate during the 18 month program.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Responsibilities

Build tools to provide data-informed insights used across various aspects of our advanced manufacturing environments.
Analyze and disseminate diverse data streams and factors to relevant audiences.
Provide actionable recommendations based on synthesis and interpretation of data.
Serve as link between information and application functions.
Create and monitor standardized systems of gathering, understanding and sharing data.
Help drive a data-driven culture across the organization with interactions across multiple levels of the organization from engineering leaders to production operators.
