Job summary

TUTCO, a subsidiary of Smiths Group, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support new and existing accounts in a manufacturing setting. You will handle order processing, inquiries, and coordination with production and shipping to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong numerical and communication skills, experience in manufacturing customer service, and proficiency with MS Office and MRP systems. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing customer service environment is advantageous.
• Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, percentages and volume.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and general office equipment.
• Knowledge of MRP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support for all product lines in customer service and handles customer complaints.
• Prepares change notices for customer engineered changes and ensures updates to orders.
• Prepares and monitors documents such as orders, shipments, forecasts and replenishments.
• Quotes and recommends products, communicates shipping dates and delays to customers.
• Performs customer service tasks including follow-up with customers and carriers to resolve issues.
• Maintains order records and files; prevents errors.
• Calculates premiums, invoicing, commissions and related accounting tasks.
• Creates and maintains files for follow-up actions.
• Coordinates with production, shipping and warehouse to expedite or trace shipments.
